At Community Care Network of Kansas, we believe that every Kansan deserves high-quality care that enhances their well-being and supports their community. Our network—comprising members, partner foundations, and lawmakers—is a true reflection of the communities we serve and the boundless potential they hold.

A wide variety of clinic types are able to join and contribute to improving healthcare across Kansas. Whether through providing essential primary care, specialized services, or community-based health initiatives, we can help you make a lasting impact on the individuals and families you serve. Member clinics include:

  • Dental-Only Clinics – meeting the vital oral health needs of individuals across the state.
  • Donation-Based Clinics – ensuring that healthcare is accessible to those who may otherwise be unable to afford it.
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) – delivering comprehensive, affordable care to understand populations.
  • FQHC Look-Alikes – offering services similar to FQHCs, without receiving federal funding.
  • Primary Care Clinics providing essential health services to individuals and families across Kansas.
  • Rural Health Clinics – providing primary care and preventative services.

Member Benefits

For over 30 years, Community Care Network of Kansas has been a reliable partner, supporting and empowering our members with a wide range of essential services. Our commitment to improving healthcare access and patient wellbeing is reflected in the assistance we provide:

  • Advocating with the State Legislature – We actively work to advocate for our members. To ensure the primary care grant program is continually funded, and secure other vital resources for member clinics to continue their important work.
  • Board Training – We provide training to help clinic boards evaluate key areas such as mission, policies, finances, and board roles and responsibilities, ensuring strong governance and organizational health.
  • Group Purchasing Programs – We make healthcare more affordable by offering group purchasing opportunities, helping clinics reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives – We assist members in achieving important quality benchmarks and process improvements, such as Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition, ensuring that clinics provide the highest standard of care.
  • Recruitment & Retention – We support clinics by attracting and retaining talented healthcare professionals to serve their communities, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Site Visit Support – We offer assistance prior to and during operational site visits, helping clinics meet their goals.
  • Training & Technical Assistance – We offer valuable training opportunities and personalized support, helping our members strengthen their operations and improve patient care.
  • Workforce Development – We strengthen workforce development strategies by offering member clinics access to tailored recruitment services, innovative training programs, career pathway initiatives, and technical assistance that enhance staff retention, professional growth, and team-based care.
Membership Levels

Members must use a sliding fee, reduced, or nominal fee schedule and provide services to individuals regardless of ability to pay.

Organizational Membership is comprised of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Look-Alike Health Centers (LALs).

This level of membership is entitled to full member benefits and is eligible to vote on corporation issues.

Organizational Members shall be comprised of non-profit or public organizations which, by legal mandate or explicit mission, deliver primary and preventive medical health care services. These services may be integrated with dental, behavioral health, and enabling services and are available on a full-time basis to patients regardless of their ability to pay. Members must use a sliding fee, reduced, or nominal fee schedule and provide services.

Associate Membership is comprised of non-profit or public organizations which provide direct primary and preventive health care services. These services may be integrated with dental, behavioral health and enabling services but are not required to be comprehensive or offered on a full-time basis.

This non-voting level of membership is entitled to select member benefits.

Friends of Community Care Network of Kansas include organizations and individuals who support the mission of the Corporation and its Organizational and Associate Members. Friends may or may not deliver primary and preventive medical health care services.
