Value in Purchasing
The Value in Purchasing (ViP) program is the only national group purchasing program endorsed by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). The program is simple and user-friendly. NACHC has leveraged the national purchasing power of health centers to negotiate discounted prices for more than 1,100 products and services used on a day-to-day basis, such as medical supplies, capital equipment, and office supplies, from more than 64 medical distributors. In most cases, health centers will start experiencing savings immediately.

Optum Fee Analyzer

Optum Fee Analyzer is an online subscription service that provides access to relative and actual physician charge data for a specific geographic area and specialty. These are the fees the competition is charging. The data is updated quarterly and e-mail alerts will be sent to the subscriber when the most recent reports and fees have been refreshed. This powerful data source makes it easier for physicians to set defensible fees while maximizing revenues.

Community Care Network of Kansas subscribes to this service annually. The subscription covers the geographic areas where member clinics are located and includes all CPT and HCPCS codes, including dental procedure codes. For information on how you can participate in this contract, click here.
