The Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved (KAMU) announced the release of the SFY 2019 Capital Investment Grant (CIG) program Request for Proposal (RFP) on October 18.
A technical assistance conference call is scheduled for November 1 at 11:30 am to answer any questions you may have about the application process and the RFP.
As part of the SFY 2019 state funding to primary care clinics, $500,000 is available for the CIG program. The CIG program is a competitive funding process, and applicants choose between two tiers of grant opportunities. A dollar to grant dollar match is required.
- Tier One: mini-grants of $1,000 — $14,999; OR
- Tier Two: major grants of $15,000 — $40,000
KAMU intends to award approximately eight Tier One grants and approximately ten Tier Two grants. Based on the number of applications received and level of funding requested, not all applications will receive funding. Additionally, some projects maybe partially funded.
