Call 620-235-4041 or email.  We invite you to attend the Rural Health Best Practices Conference at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center in Oakley, Kansas on July 13th, 2018. The conference will begin at 10 AM CST, and will conclude at 4 PM CST. Rural health experts from across the state will provide education on rural health topics such as chronic disease care, sepsis, patient care coordination, behavioral health, community outreach, and much more. Clinicians, nurses, administrators, managers, and community leaders should plan to attend this outstanding event.

Objectives

  • Identify challenging issues facing rural health care providers and organizations.
  • Discuss novel approaches to delivering health care in a rural setting.
  • Create networks to address issues facing rural health organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to positively impact health outcomes in their organization/community/region.

Continuing education credits will be offered for physicians, nurses, other allied health professionals, and social workers.
