About this event:

Created by Kari Parker

Health care can be effective and efficient in meeting the needs of patients, families and communities, and primary care is the cornerstone of health care. The fabric of your primary care network is strengthened by sharing your knowledge and experiences, promoting practice improvements with others in the network and learning from them where your practice could improve.

One in ten Kansans seek care at KAMU member clinics. Collectively, this is the largest primary care system serving all Kansans, regardless of who they are, how much money they make, where they live or if they have health insurance.  And, the number of patients served increases every year.

This network has a significant opportunity to emphasize quality improvement (QI) and practice redesign in ways that could fundamentally improve health care and health outcomes in Kansas.

KAMU will be reaching out to identify presenters from your sites that have reported higher rates of success for Diabetes management, Hypertension control, Colorectal Cancer Screening, Smoking Cessation, Childhood Immunizations, Weight assessment and Counseling for children and adolescents.
