About this event:
KAMU is hosting a Regional National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Training, June 13 – 15 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lawrence, Kansas. This 2 ½ day training will begin with an introduction to PCMH and will cover the Foundational Concepts of the Medical Home — an in-depth guide to NCQA recognition requirements and the process for achieving PCMH recognition. The Advanced PCMH 2017 will cover Mastering the Medical Home Transformation and NCQA PCMH recognition requirements in the practice setting. It takes a deeper dive to explore the key characteristics of a successful medical home.
The cost to attend the training is free. There is a $30 fee; however, to cover the costs of a daily break and beverages. Meals will be on your own unless we are able to find a sponsor.
NCQA will award CEs for the 2 ½ day training. In support of improving patient care, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
