Emergency Preparedness Mid-Action Review

May 13, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Description

Community Care Network of Kansas invites your health center to participate in an Emergency Preparedness Mid-Action Review facilitated by Integrated Work.

The mid-action review is a simple, but powerful method for rapid assessment of response efforts thus far to analyze the management or response to an event by identifying strengths to be maintained and built upon, as well as identifying potential areas of improvement.

The past year has been unprecedented with COVID-19 requiring health center staff to be completely adaptable, strategic and resilient in their efforts. Meanwhile, other health center preparedness needs have likely remained in the background.  This is a time for health centers to take stock of progress thus far, remaining needs and how Community Care can be most supportive and how the health center community can best support one another to lighten the burden on all.

Learning Objective:
Participants will leave the meeting feeling rejuvenated with ca greater understanding of the broader emergency preparedness landscape in Kansas as well as strategies to carry forward.  Participants will also continue the process of building relationships with one another to strengthen Kansas’ Network of Health Centers.

Draft Agenda

Who should attend?

Health Center staff who have been significantly involved in COVID response efforts including planning and response related to testing, vaccination, communication, and data collection.  For the most benefit, we encourage health centers to bring a team of 2 – 3 people to this review. If you are unable to bring a team, your participation is still extremely valuable.
