Workforce Development Specialist
Community Care Network of Kansas is seeking a leader to fill its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) position. The CSO, together with the Strategy and Programs team, will oversee implementation of the strategic plan, build partnerships, lead the Strategy and Program department, manage special pilot projects and serve in a high profile external role representing Community Care with members, partners, funders and other stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, 10 years leadership experience, and eight years supervisory experience. As the state’s primary care association, we work with our members to rethink what health care means and ensure all Kansans have access to high-quality health care. The Workforce Development Specialist will support our member clinics as they implement evidence-based, sustainable strategies to attract and retain staff and providers. The position will also be responsible for building relationships and creating partner opportunities to facilitate placement of students, interns, residents, providers and staff within Community Care member clinics.
Applicant must have strong relationship building skills and be able to exercise outstanding judgement in working with various institutions of higher learning and health care clinics. This position requires exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving capacity.
